No prophecy of 17,640 days appears in the Bible. I'm curious, why is the end result of multiplying 49 years by 360 days measured in days, rather than weeks or years? Again, it is not a matter of correct Bible interpretation or revealed Bible prophecy, but numerical contortionism. I can understand how June 7, 1967 is important. Honestly, this one's easy: It means that a small group of Christians will succeed in making lots of people think all Christians are dimwits. Several of the articles I read seemed to suggest some prophetic significance to this upcoming eclipse. When they are suggesting this one either is described in Scripture or is the definite precursor to some other event described in the Bible, I have to say – nonsense. As I mentioned earlier, these are common. Those 'Prophetic' Blood Moons. The Bible reveals that locusts were used as one of the Ten Plagues of Egypt inflicted by God to pressure Pharaoh to free the Israelites from slavery and bondage. Begley believes that this eclipse event on June 21st is yet another sign of armageddon, referring to another of the ten plagues – when God told Moses that 'darkness will spread. 2014-15 tetrad: According to Bible prophecy, the Ezekiel 38 war and the 'catching up' of the saints (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18) are imminent; and chronologically following that war, the Temple is built and the 'Prince' of Israel, Jesus Christ, returns (with the saints – Jude 1:14) and rules in.

The gematria for the Hebrew word for sign – the numerical value of the word – is 400. An eclipse is a very impressive sign in the sky, when our moon completely, perfectly blocks out the sun for a few minutes. The Sun is 400 times larger than the moon, but it is 400 times farther away. Interesting coincidence, or is an eclipse the most important sign?
